What is the practical difference?
The difference shows in daily tasks. A dedicated RFID layer compares every tag’s unique identifier with expected stock per location and separates missing, extra and misplaced items. With a keyboard wedge, tag reads usually arrive as SKU quantities, so the item-level detail that makes RFID valuable is lost or has to be rebuilt through custom work.

Can we keep our ERP and still use Orixya?
Yes, and that is often the simplest route. Your ERP stays the record for products, orders and accounting. Orixya runs tagging, counts, receiving, dispatch checks and gate reads, then exchanges the results with your ERP through an API, webhooks or file exchange, scoped per project around the flows you need.
When does switching to the Orixya retail system make sense?
Switching makes sense when you do not have a system you want to keep, or when your current one cannot handle sizes, colors and several locations well. The Orixya retail system includes POS with RFID checkout, inventory, purchasing, accounting and CRM, so RFID is built into every workflow rather than connected from outside.
When is an ERP add-on enough?
An add-on or keyboard wedge can be enough if you only need occasional bulk counts by SKU, have a skilled integrator, and do not need item-level locate, misplaced-item detection or gates. If RFID is a minor convenience rather than how you control stock, a simpler add-on may be the right call.
What does connecting an RFID layer involve?
It starts with discovery: how your ERP exposes products and orders and how it accepts stock changes. We map that data to tags and events, pilot one flow such as receiving or dispatch, then extend. The effort depends on your system’s API or file exports, so we scope it per project rather than promise a fixed connector.

Do we have to replace our accounting software?
No. If you connect Orixya as the RFID layer, your ERP and accounting stay as they are. If you switch to the Orixya retail system, it includes double-entry accounting with automatic posting, VAT and bank reconciliation.
Which systems can Orixya connect to?
Any system that can exchange data through an API, webhooks or file import and export. We do not claim ready-made connectors for named products; each integration is scoped with you.
Is Orixya available in Arabic?
Not yet. The interface is in English today.
