Orixya’s RFID integration adds item-level tracking to the ERP, POS or warehouse system you already run. Orixya handles tagging, handheld readers, fixed readers and gates, reads orders and product data from your system, and sends RFID events such as received, counted, moved and dispatched back into it. Your system stays the record for orders and accounts.

What does the Orixya RFID layer do?
The RFID layer covers everything between a physical item and your system: printing and encoding tags, linking each tag’s unique identifier to your product codes, handheld counts and item locate, reads at receiving and dispatch, and hands-free reads from fixed readers and RFID gates. It turns raw tag reads into clean business events your system can use.

How does data flow between Orixya and your system?
Orixya pulls what it needs from your system, such as products, orders or invoices to pick against, and pushes RFID events back, such as items received, counted, moved or dispatched. Exchange runs over your system’s REST API, webhooks or a scheduled file exchange, depending on what your system supports. Events are idempotent and can be replayed if your system was unavailable.

What stays in your system and what does Orixya manage?
Your system keeps what it already owns: customers, orders, invoices, prices and accounting. Orixya manages the RFID side: which tag belongs to which item, where each item was last read, count results and reader activity. That split means you add RFID accuracy without moving your financial records or retraining staff on a new back office.
What does an RFID integration project look like?
Every integration is scoped to the system on the other side, so projects start with discovery rather than a fixed connector. We learn how your system exposes its data, agree the mapping, prove one flow end to end on real hardware, and then extend it to the rest of your operation.

Should I integrate or run on Orixya?
Integrate if your current ERP, POS or WMS works for you and you mainly need item-level accuracy. Run on Orixya if you are on spreadsheets or several disconnected tools and want one system where RFID, sales, stock and accounts are already joined. Both options use the same RFID software and hardware.

What does an integration look like in practice?
A cross-border parcel-consolidation operator kept its own business system. Orixya added RFID tagging and handheld dispatch checks, pulling orders from the operator’s system and pushing RFID events back into it. The dispatch flow is proven on real handhelds and rollout is in progress.
The operator’s staff keep working in their own system. Orders flow into Orixya, the handhelds check each parcel against its order at dispatch, and the dispatch events land back in the operator’s system without anyone re-keying them.
Frequently asked questions
Do we have to replace our ERP?
No. The integration route is designed for businesses that keep their ERP, POS or WMS. Orixya adds the RFID layer and exchanges data with it.
Do you have ready-made connectors for specific systems?
Integrations are scoped per project around your system’s API, webhooks or file exports. We don’t promise an off-the-shelf connector; we build and test the mapping with you.
What if our system has no API?
Many systems can still export and import files. A scheduled file exchange is often enough for orders in and RFID events out.
What happens if our system is down?
RFID events are kept and can be replayed once your system is back, and repeated delivery does not create duplicates.
Can we move to the Orixya retail system later?
Yes. The RFID data, tags and hardware stay the same, so moving to the all-in-one option later does not mean re-tagging.
