How does RFID inventory management work in Orixya?

Every item gets a UHF RFID tag with a unique identifier linked to its product and variant. When stock arrives, moves or leaves, a handheld reader or a fixed reader reads the tags and Orixya records a movement for each item. Stock levels and item locations update automatically, in Orixya and, if you integrate, in your own system.

3. 3Transfer stock between stores and warehouses; the destination confirms by reading the tags.

Can Orixya track product variants?

Yes. Products can carry variants (for example size and color, batch or model), and stock is held per variant in each store and warehouse. Because each tag points to a specific variant, a count or a sale reduces the exact variant that moved, and low-stock alerts fire per variant rather than per product.

How do I find a specific item in the store?

Select the item on the handheld reader and switch to Locate. The reader beeps faster and shows a stronger signal as you get closer to the tag, like a Geiger counter. Items reported missing after a stock count can be sent straight to Locate to search the stock room and shop floor.
