Retail POS with RFID checkout
The Orixya point of sale is part of the all-in-one Orixya retail system. It reads a customer’s tagged items together with RFID, takes payment in more than one currency and across several payment methods, and closes each shift with a cash drawer count. Every sale reduces stock by the exact variant sold and posts to accounting automatically.

How does RFID checkout work?
The cashier reads the customer’s items with an RFID reader instead of scanning barcodes one by one. Orixya identifies each tagged item, applies any running markdown and builds the sale. When the sale completes, those exact items leave stock and the invoice is created as paid.
Can the POS take payment in more than one currency?
Yes. A sale can be paid in more than one currency and split across several payment methods, for example part in cash and the rest by card or in a second currency. Shift reports break sales down by currency, and each payment posts to the matching cash or bank account in accounting.
How are cash drawers and shifts managed?
Each cashier opens a shift with a counted opening float and closes it with a counted closing amount. Orixya calculates the expected cash from the shift’s cash sales and refunds and shows the variance, so differences are visible the same day rather than at month end.
Can the POS handle returns and exchanges?
Yes. Returns are processed line by line against the original sale, the returned items go back into stock and refunds post to accounting. An exchange returns one item and sells another in the same flow.
How do scheduled sales and markdowns work?
You schedule a markdown campaign in the back office, for example a discount on a category from a start date to an end date. While it runs, the POS and the Orixya webstore charge the sale price, receipts show the original "was" price, and discounts post to their own accounting line.
What does the Orixya POS not do yet?
The POS is RFID-first: items sold at the till must carry an RFID tag, and barcode-only checkout is not supported yet. The interface is in English. If you already have a POS you like, the RFID integration route lets you keep it and add RFID around it instead.

Can one sale be paid with several payment methods?
Yes. Split the sale across payment methods, such as cash and card or two currencies, and the total must match before the sale completes.
Do I have to use the Orixya POS to use Orixya RFID?
No. The POS is part of the all-in-one option. If you keep your existing POS, Orixya’s RFID layer can integrate with it instead.
Can I sell items that have no RFID tag?
Not through the Orixya POS yet. Items need an RFID tag. We help you tag existing stock during onboarding.
Do POS sales appear in accounting automatically?
Yes. Each sale creates a paid invoice, reduces stock and posts the journal entries for revenue, VAT and payment.
