When is a spreadsheet still fine?
A spreadsheet is fine for a single small shop with simple products, one person responsible for stock and occasional counts that match. If that describes you, a spreadsheet costs less and there is no need to change yet. Revisit the decision when you open a second location or counts stop matching.
What are the signs you have outgrown a spreadsheet?
